Set downstairs in the Intercontinental hotel, The Steak House is one of the best steakhouses in Hong Kong, with a probably unrivalled selection of steaks, and a tray of 10 knives from which you choose your preferred cutting implement. The seafood listing is of equally high quality. The wine list is majority US.

MUST TRY: Japanese A5 grade Hida Wagyu steak, striploin or tenderloin.

Classic steakhouse atmosphere and d?cor, with low lights, bustle, a bit noisy, and integral to it all the fragrance of charcoal grilled food.

SERVICE
Friendly, informal, pleasant, and the staff certainly know both the menu and the wine list.

FOOD
USDA Strauss Angus beef, Japanese and Australian Wagyu, Iberico pork, French free-range yellow chicken, Boston lobster, Irish salmon, Roquefort blue cheese…all the best of the best steakhouse fare. Add to this seven types of potato on the side, nine sea salts, and twelve mustards, and the detail as well as the quality adds to the pleasure.

Everything that a hungry diner needs, and the seafood choice also makes The Steak House agreeable for non-meat eaters. This restaurant is good for small parties. The wine bar is a very pleasant watering hole. The venue is not cheap, but with this quality and range, well worth the splurge.
