M on the Bund occupies a century-old European-style building on the Bund and the decoration draws on the spirit of Jiangnan Gardens combined with art to create a beautiful yet relaxing ambience. The kitchen blends various cooking techniques with Chinese philosophies of nourishment to create creative and beguiling vegetarian dishes using an eclectic mix of European, Australian and North African flavors.

From its vantage point atop the Nissin Shipping Building, the rooftop terrace at M on the Bund offers a breathtaking view of the buildings of Pudong in a setting of sparkling lights and Huangpu River. The dining room ambience is sleek and stylish with the burgundy chair and white tablecloths. The restaurant caters primarily to visitors and expatriates.

Only set menus will be served. M on the Bund’s menu serve French food with a twist of fusion which features a wide array of delights, including classics like M’s Crispy Suckling Pig, the Slowly Baked, Salt-Encased Selected Leg of Lamb and Hot House-Smoked Salmon; hearty pig platter of suckling pig, pork belly and neck confit; Aubergines – a salad of smoky purple eggplant served with smooth cream aubergine caviar and tapenade; selection of Moroccan mezze like pigeon and octopus dishes; M’s Very Famous Pavlova topped with fruit; foie gras, seated scallop, steak fillet; poppyseed cake and the rhubarb tart. Dining on the terrace is dope when the weather condition is okay.
