IGNIV Bangkok is the first IGNIV to open outside Switzerland. "IGNIV" means "nest" in Romansh. With its unique Swiss Fine Dining Sharing concept, IGNIV celebrates not only the pleasure of sharing excellent cuisine but also the time spent together—with each other and engaging with the kitchen and service team.
OVERVIEW
Launched in 2020, IGNIV Bangkok is a proud showcase for cosmopolitan cuisine rooted in Swiss origins and a respect for locality. IGNIV celebrates a style that turns the traditions of fine dining on its head with exquisite plates presented in a sharing format. A cuisine largely framed by the flavours, traditions and ingredients native to Switzerland and its neighbouring countries of France, Italy, Germany and Austria, embraces the fluidity of global influence.
Building upon IGNIV’s cosmopolitan culinary ethos, IGNIV Bangkok, founded by Chef Andreas Caminada, carves out its own distinctive identity by skillfully integrating the highest quality local ingredients with Head Chef Arne Riehn’s signature creativity. Setting the stage for these culinary creations, General Manager Thibaud Charlemarty elevates the dining experience with warm, convivial service that evokes the comfort of dining at a friend’s home, breaking away from the traditional formality of fine dining.
AMBIENCE
Acclaimed Spanish interior designer Patricia Urquiola has recreated the signature embracing atmosphere of all IGNIV restaurants, conveying the concept of an intimate cocoon through the use of wood, handcrafted fabrics, vases and bronze furnishings. Look closely and discover design elements that also communicate details of the local culture in a subtle, unpredictable way. Adorning the walls at IGNIV Bangkok are works by Japanese pop artist Keiichi Tanami. Handpicked by Chef Andreas from his personal collection, the works are testament to his passion as an avid art collector.

FOOD
IGNIV Bangkok offers a 4-course menu, served at the centre of the table in the style of a shared feast, including 17-20 dishes. The finale of each meal is the Candy Store; an invitation to revisit one’s childhood with a visual extravaganza of caneles, madeleines, financiers, caramels, toffees, chocolate dipped nuts, panforte and nougat to be brought home as a delicious memory of their visit. Each IGNIV menu has been changed four times a year, based on the season of IGNIV's Swiss origins: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.
SERVICE
Under the watchful supervision of general manager Thibaud Charlemarty, the service is attentive, professional, and unobtrusive.
