Le Du is a modern Thai-inspired restaurant offering seasonal dishes created by Chef Ton from available Thai ingredients. The name of the restaurant and bar “Le Du” comes from a Thai word meaning “season” and reflects the culinary creations made using seasonal produce.
Le Du serves a 4 and 6 courses tasting menus featuring the extraordinary agricultural bounty of Thailand and on the centuries-old culinary traditions. The award winning restaurant sources only quality ingredients from local farmers and prepares them with modern cooking techniques to create exciting and extraordinary dishes.
Signature dishes at Le Du include Khao Chae and Slipper Lobster, and the famous Ant Larvae with Seasonal Flowers and Green Herbs. Another must-try is khao kluk kapi, organic rice, cooked with salty aromatic shrimp paste served with river prawns.
Chef Ton graduated from The Culinary Institute of America and worked in many Michelin-starred restaurants in New York City, including Eleven Madison Park, The Modern, and Jean Georges. He has a passion for wine and received the Certified Sommelier (CS) recognition from the most prestigious organization, the Court of Master Sommelier in New York City. Le Du’s wine list features many exceptional wines from around the world.
